NOVELTY - Preparing modified graphene oxide composite material comprises (i) mixing ferrous ion and ferric ion with distilled water, and reacting under alkaline condition to obtain ferro ferric oxide nanoparticles, (ii) dissolving ferro ferric oxide nano-particle and chitosan in acetic acid solution, adding graphene oxide, adding glutaraldehyde, and adjusting pH to react to obtain magnetic chitosan graphene oxide nano-composite material, (ii) taking dimethyl sulfoxide and isopropanol, adding magnetic chitosan graphene oxide nano-composite, dropping epoxy chloropropane, adding sodium hydroxide solution, adjusting pH using hydrochloric acid, adding amine, stirring and reacting at room temperature to obtain triethylenetetraamine functionalized magnetic chitosan graphene oxide nano-composite material, and (iv) taking sodium hydroxide and isopropanol, adding triethylenetetraamine functionalized magnetic chitosan graphene oxide nano composite material, adding carbon disulfide and stirring. USE - The material is useful in heavy metal ion adsorption, antibacterial or dye adsorption (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, mild condition, high adsorption capacity and fast, high-efficient adsorption performance, is easy to recycle after adsorption, and can be recycled.
