NOVELTY - Carbon-coated sodium ferric sulfate anode material comprises active sodium ferric sulfate material and carbon-based coating material. USE - Used as carbon-coated sodium ferric sulfate anode material. ADVANTAGE - The material efficiently solves the technical problem of practical application of the polyanion type iron-based sulfate anode material of the sodium ion battery, and overcomes the problems of its low sodium storage capacity, continuous decrease of working potential, poor cycle stability, poor rate performance and low temperature working performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the anode material, comprising (i) adding sodium ferric sulfate and a carbon-based coating material to a zirconia ball milling tank, adding zirconia balls, flushing with nitrogen or vacuum protection, and ball milling to obtain a carbon-coated sodium ferric sulfate intermediate material, and (ii) transferring the carbon-coated sodium ferric sulfate intermediate material into a box-type furnace, heat treating in a nitrogen or argon protective atmosphere, and crushing the heat-treated product into powder.
