NOVELTY - Preparation of activated carbon cloth/graphene composite electrode involves dispersing 50 mg graphene and 5 mg aluminum salt solution in 50 ml ethanol/acetone mixture, placing mixture in high speed ultrasonic bath to obtain evenly dispersed graphene and aluminum salt solution, placing cleaned electrodes vertically in mixture, energizing graphene/aluminum mixture for 30 minutes in 20 V to effect electrophoretic deposition and stirring continuously at not greater than 20 rpm so that the graphene by electrophoretic deposition of leading trivalent aluminum ions are deposited on activated carbon cloth. USE - Preparation of activated carbon cloth/graphene composite electrode is used in capacitive deionization device (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of activated carbon cloth/graphene composite electrode involves dispersing 50 mg graphene and 5 mg aluminum salt solution in 50ml ethanol/acetone mixture to obtain graphene/aluminum mixture, placing the mixture in high speed ultrasonic bath to obtain evenly dispersed graphene and aluminum salt solution, placing the cleaned anode and cathode electrodes vertically in the mixture in which cathode having activated carbon cloth, energizing graphene/aluminum mixture for 30 minutes to effect electrophoretic deposition with the voltage of 20 V and stirring continuously using a stirrer at not greater than 20 rpm so that the graphene by electrophoretic deposition of leading trivalent ions are deposited on the activated carbon cloth. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for capacitive deionization device.
