NOVELTY - Preparing graphene comprises (i) uniformly mixing the graphite powder and intercalation agent, and using the mechanical grinding method to obtain mixed precursor, (ii) mixing the mixed precursor with organic solvent, orderly adding polydopamine modified thiolated hydroxyethyl starch, and dispersant, stirring them uniformly, and performing ultrasonic treatment to obtain the graphene product. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene. ADVANTAGE - The graphene has polydopamine modified thiolated hydroxyethyl starch providing good surface activity, strong adsorption capacity, enabling it to interact with the benzene ring structure of graphite and Pi-Pi electron cloud to produce adsorption, thus graphene outermost layer of natural graphite is detached from the graphite substrate into the solvent to obtain a graphene product.
