NOVELTY - Magnesium(II) ion/magnesium cathode sodium-magnesium double-salt battery with stable electrode shape and improved capacity and rate, is claimed. The anode is reduced graphene oxide composite tin-selenium electrode; and the electrolyte is sodium borohydride-magnesium borohydride complex (I). USE - The magnesium(II) ion/magnesium cathode sodium-magnesium double-salt battery with stable electrode shape and improved capacity and rate is useful in field of energy storage technology. ADVANTAGE - The battery: solves the problems of low specific capacity, less electrode shape stability, poor rate performance, and high production cost in existing sodium chromate(III) sodium-magnesium double-salt battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Magnesium(II) ion/magnesium cathode sodium-magnesium double-salt battery with stable electrode shape and improved capacity and rate, is claimed. The anode is reduced graphene oxide composite tin-selenium electrode; and the electrolyte is sodium borohydride-magnesium borohydride complex of formula (xMNaBH4/yMMg(BH4)2-ether solvent) (I). x = 0.5, 1 or 1.5; y = 0.1 or 0.2; and M = concentration unit mol/l.
