NOVELTY - Producing electrode showing color, comprises (a) forming a metal layer on a substrate, (b) forming graphene by using the metal contained in the metal layer as a seed, and (c) oxidizing metal in the metal layer to form a metal oxide. USE - The method is useful for producing electrode showing color. ADVANTAGE - The electrode can be used for various purposes by allowing color of the metal oxide to be displayed, and has excellent transparency, flexibility, and conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for electrode (100) comprising a substrate (110), a metal layer formed on the substrate, and a graphene layer (130) formed by using the metal contained in the metal layer as a seed, where the metal layer contains a metal oxide oxidized by oxygen introduced after the formation of the graphene layer.
