NOVELTY - Preparation of alkoxybenzidine-modified graphene material involves adding alkoxybenzidine molecules and graphene oxide as precursors to a solvent in reaction kettle, ultrasonically stirring, and reacting at 40-220℃. USE - Preparation of alkoxybenzidine-modified graphene material (claimed) used in electrochemical energy storage application such as secondary ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The preparation method produces modified graphene material with loose and dispersed layered structure, excellent electrical property, specific capacitance of up to 538.3 F/g, and excellent rate performance and electrochemical cycle stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the alkoxybenzidine-modified graphene material, which comprises the alkoxybenzidine molecules covalently bonded to the graphene, and has specific capacitance of 406.7-538.3 F/g.
