NOVELTY - Air pollutant detector based on graphene infrared emission unit comprises infrared emitting unit, detecting unit and filter set on surface of infrared emitting unit. Infrared emitting unit including polyaluminosilicate layer, graphene electric heating layer, silicon carbide layer and/or graphitizable polymer layer arranged in sequence. Graphene microsphere interspersing between silicon carbide layer and graphitizable polymer layer. Graphene electric heating layer is connecting to power supply. Infrared emitting unit converting electrical energy into heat energy, and radiating heat outward in infrared ray. Infrared filter filtering radiated infrared light to passing infrared light of specific wave band. Size of graphene microspheres is 2-5 um. Total thickness of silicon carbide layer and graphitizable polymer layer does not exceed 1/4 of size of graphene microspheres. Wall thickness of microspheres is less than 5 atomic layers. USE - The air pollutant detector is useful for detecting various gases. ADVANTAGE - The detector: is simple and economical.
