NOVELTY - Low volatile organic compound content, weather resistant salt mist corrosion resistant coating comprises 30-50 wt.% mixed resin, 10-30 wt.% zinc powder, 0.2-1.5 wt.% carbon nano material, 10-30 wt.% filler, 0.5-3 wt.% auxiliary agent and 10-20 wt.% solvent USE - Used as low volatile organic compound content, weather resistant salt mist corrosion resistant coating. ADVANTAGE - The coating: can overcome the problem of the existing heavy anti-corrosion zinc-rich coating, and greatly improve the salt-fog corrosion resistance of the coating, and realize the corrosion protection of the coating to C5 or CX environment, the VOC content of the coating is less than 120 g/L, meeting the coating environmentally-friendly development and has lower zinc powder content compared with the zinc-rich coating, better anti-foaming performance and excellent adhesion to the steel substrate, and good weather resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparation method of low volatile organic compound content, weather resistant salt mist corrosion resistant coating, comprising (i) adding zinc powder, carbon nano material, filler and auxiliary agent into the solvent, stirring for 20-40 minutes at high speed of 1000-2000 revolutions/minute to obtain uniformly dispersed base material; (ii) mixing the mixed resin and the base material in step (i), sealing and introducing high-purity nitrogen, ball milling for 10-12 hours to obtain uniformly dispersed first slurry; and (iii) adding the first slurry in the step (ii) with the epoxy resin mass ratio of 1:1 of polyamide curing agent, at speed of 1000-2000 revolutions/minutes high speed stirring for 20-40 minutes to obtain uniformly dispersed second slurry.
