NOVELTY - Preparing heat intelligent material comprises (1) mixing the agglomerant, heat conducting material, thermal expansion material and solvent, obtaining the first mixture, (2) freezing the first mixture to obtain a second mixture and (3) impregnating the second mixture, curing and obtaining the heat intelligent material, where the heat conducting coefficient of the heat conducting material is greater than the heat conducting coefficient of the heat expanding material. USE - The material is useful in a battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has good thermal conductivity at room temperature and good high temperature heat insulation performance, which is conducive to protect the safe operation of the battery system and prolongs the service life of the battery system. The method: is simple and easy to implement and can realize mass production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: a heat intelligent material, which is prepared by the above method; and a battery comprising the heat intelligent material.
