NOVELTY - The scale inhibitor comprises 0.001-10 g/l aqueous solution of graphene oxide having particle size of 15-800 nm. USE - Scale inhibitor for use in industrial cooling water system, preferably fresh water, brackish water or seawater system (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The scale inhibitor efficiently removes sewage scaling effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing scale inhibitor, which involves: (A) adding flaky graphene scale inhibitor in cooled water; and (B) stirring the resulting mixture magnetically for 1-3 hours under ultrasonic dispersion for 1000-2000 minutes to prepare oxide graphene aqueous solution.
