▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A polymer composition comprises a polyol ether, and graphene oxide. The polyol ether comprises ethylene oxide units and propylene oxide units having central backbone comprising propylene oxide units and/or ethylene oxide units randomly distributed within the central backbone, and terminal groups comprising polyethylene oxide blocks. The polyol ether comprises 10-90 wt.% ethylene oxide units, and 20 wt.% polyethylene oxide blocks, based on the total weight of the polyol ether, with an equivalent molecular weight of less than or equal to 2000 g/mol. USE - Polymer composition is used in CASE applications, and in preparation of polyurethane foams and thermoplastic polyurethane (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The polymer composition is devoid of dispersing agent, has improved thermal stability, fireproof properties, viscosity and hydrophilicity, and improves dispersion of graphene oxide within the polymer matrix. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of polymer composition, which involves (a) providing a dispersion of graphene oxide in a polar solvent, (b) mixing the dispersion of graphene oxide with the polyol ether, and (c) removing the polar solvent from the mixture obtained in step (b).
