NOVELTY - A polypropylene fiber comprises 90-100 pts. wt. polypropylene resin, 3-5 pts. wt. nano-ceramic powder, 6-8 pts. wt. nano-graphene, 0.05-0.12 pt. wt. silane coupling agent, 0.06-0.15 pt. wt. stearic acid and 1-2.4 pts. wt. acetone. The polypropylene fiber is prepared by weighing silane coupling agent as surfactant and acetone as diluent and then stirring, adding nano-ceramic powder and then ultrasonically processing at 35-40 degrees C for 20-30 minutes, adding stearic acid and then grinding into powder, drying at 62 degrees C for 10-12 hours, adding nano-graphene and polypropylene resin, extruding using twin-screw extruder and then pelletizing at 195 degrees C and spinning. USE - Polypropylene fiber is useful for filtration of dust. ADVANTAGE - The polypropylene fiber has excellent yield strength, elongation at break and elastic modulus, and can be prepared with high efficiency.
