NOVELTY - Manufacturing anode material for a battery (1) comprises forming an anode material doped with chromium by providing a first mixture which dissolves at least one compound and a chromium source in a solvent, adding the first weak base salt with a buffer dose to form a salt hydrated chelate, providing a second mixture comprising a lithium source and a buffered amount of a second weak base salt and combining the first mixture and the second mixture to form the anode material doped with chromium, mixing the anode material doped with chromium (10), a first carbonaceous material (20) and a binder (30) to form a mixed mass and heating the mixed mass and sintering using an inert gas to form amorphous carbon-coated integrated balls (40). USE - The method is useful for manufacturing anode material for battery. ADVANTAGE - The method dopes chromium in the anode material, which can stabilize the manganese in the material, thus increasing the reaction voltage, power and charge-discharge cycle of the overall anode material. The material can be produced by a staged manufacturing method, so the quality of the cathode material is better and the yield is higher.
