NOVELTY - Preparation of coated ternary positive electrode material involves (s1) mixing ternary positive electrode material with a system (A) comprising graphene, soluble copper salt and water, and dispersing to obtain slurry, and (s2) mixing the slurry with a system (B) comprising organic ligand, alkali substance and water, filtering, washing, and drying. USE - Preparation of coated ternary positive electrode material for lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and provides coated ternary positive electrode material having high capacity, excellent conductivity and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for coated ternary positive electrode material.
