NOVELTY - Lightning protection system comprises a conductive coating layer comprising a metal component, and a conductive doped-epoxy mixture (13). The conductive doped-epoxy mixture comprises an epoxy-based material and graphene. The conductive doped-epoxy mixture is present in the conductive coating layer in a content of 50 wt.%. USE - The system is useful for a vehicle (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The system: utilizes the conductive doped-epoxy mixture that has a specific conductivity of 1.47-13 S.m^2/g; and utilizes the conductive coating layer that has a smeared specific conductivity of 4.06 S.m^2/g. The vehicle utilizes the conductive doped-epoxy mixture that has a density of 1.6-1.8 g/cc, a conductivity of 2.5\asterisk10^5 S/m, and a specific conductivity of 1.47 S.m^2/g. The method utilizes the conductive surfacing film mixture that has a smeared specific conductivity of 4.06 S.m^2/g. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: a vehicle; and forming conductive surfacing film mixture, comprising doping an epoxy-based material with graphene to form a conductive doped-epoxy mixture, with the content of graphene of 0.5-1.1 wt.% of the conductive doped-epoxy mixture, and incorporating a metal component into the conductive-doped epoxy mixture to form a conductive surfacing film mixture.
