NOVELTY - Preparing oxidized graphene sponge using glutathione comprises (1) ultrasonically dispersing the oxidized graphene suspension, adding ammonia solution and reduced glutathione into the suspension, continuously ultrasonically dispersing to form the uniformly mixed suspension, and maintaining constant temperature water bath, heating to form graphene oxide gel, the graphene oxide suspension is graphene oxide aqueous suspension, (2) using de-ionized water to repeatedly wash the graphene oxide gel, removing ammonia and reduced glutathione, low-temperature vacuum drying to obtain oxidized graphene sponge. USE - The oxidized graphene sponge is useful for absorbing the dye (claimed).
