NOVELTY - Dried insect wings are added to ethanol solution in which metal salt is dissolved and freeze-dried. The freeze-dried mixture is calcined and cooled. The calcined insect wings are dispersed in acid solution, calcined and dried. Insect wings are added to acid solution, dried, calcined and cooled, to obtain graphene-based material. The graphene-based material is added to ethanol containing perfluorosulfonic acid solution, to obtain uniform electrocatalyst solution. Electrocatalyst solution is dripped on rotating disk electrode and dried, to obtain graphene-based electrocatalyst. USE - Preparation of graphene-based electrocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of graphene-based electrocatalyst by simple, environmentally-friendly and economical method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Insect wings are placed in container containing deionized water, heated in oven at 30-200 degrees C for 0.1-72 hours, cooled to room temperature, and the insect wings are removed, placed in oven and dried. The dried insect wings are weighed and added to ethanol solution in which metal salt is dissolved such that the mass ratio of insect wings and metal salts is 0.001-1000, freeze-dried for 2-72 hours, or drying by drying method. The freeze-dried mixture of insect wings mixed with metal salts is placed in crucible, calcined in tubular furnace under mixed gas atmosphere of nitrogen or argon gas containing nitrogen source at 500-2000 degrees C for 0.1-72 hours and cooled to room temperature. The calcined insect wings are removed from the tube furnace, dispersed in acid solution with concentration is 0.1-10 moles/L, calcined in oven at 30-200 degrees C for 1-48 hours, centrifugally separated and dried in oven. Insect wings are added to acid solution and dried in tube furnace, calcined in tubular furnace at 500-2000 degrees C for 0.1-12 hours under nitrogen or argon atmosphere and cooled to room temperature, to obtain graphene-based material. The graphene-based material is weighed and added to anhydrous ethanol containing perfluorosulfonic acid solution and ultrasonically processed for 5-60 minutes, to obtain uniform electrocatalyst solution. Predetermined amount of electrocatalyst solution is dripped on rotating disk electrode, and catalyst loading amount is 0.1-2 mg/cm2. The electrodes are dried in oven at 25-80 degrees C for 5-60 minutes, to obtain graphene-based electrocatalyst.
