NOVELTY - The multilayer catalyst layer comprises a catalyst layer attached to a support substrate, where the catalyst layer is provided with a water vapor shift reaction catalyst layer and an electro-catalyst layer. The water vapor-shift reaction catalyst layers are attached to the surface substrate, and the electro-catalyst layer is attached to surface vapor-shifting catalyst layer. USE - Multilayer catalyst layer for use in high temperature polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The multilayer catalyst layer has excellent carbon monoxide (CO) resistance.
