▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Nickel-iron oxyhydroxide doped carbon nanotube composite catalyst comprises graphene oxide and nickel-iron complex. USE - The composite catalyst is useful in preparing oxygen evolution anode for electrolysis of water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite catalyst: exhibits excellent oxidation, photoelectrochemical and electrocatalytic activity; and has high specific surface area and high activity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Nickel-iron oxyhydroxide doped carbon nanotube composite catalyst comprises graphene oxide and nickel-iron complex of formula (NixFe(1-x)OOH). x = 0.5-0.9. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing nickel-iron oxyhydroxide doped carbon nanotube composite catalyst, comprising either performing hydro-thermal reaction of graphene oxide and nickel-iron complex to obtain final product; or (i) preparing carbon nanotube solution, then dissolving nickel nitrate and iron(III) nitrate precursors in deionized water, adding resultant solution to carbon nanotube solution, setting the scan rate of deposition to 80-120 mV/seconds, then adding certain amount of potassium hydroxide and bromine solution, depositing for 6-10 minutes under the action of dynamic voltage 1.2 V and cooling, and (ii) washing with a large volume of deionized water for many times and drying to obtain final product.
