NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide modified warm coal asphalt using medium temperature coal tar pitch as the base material comprises e.g. ultrasonic dispersing graphene oxide in solvent, preparing into 8-15 mg/ml graphite oxide solution, mixing graphite oxide solution and medium temperature coal asphalt powder, stirring, heating at 140-180 degrees C for 2-3 hours, mixing material become molten, stirring at 180 degrees C for 18-22 hours, cooling to obtain graphene oxide modified asphalt. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene oxide modified warm coal asphalt (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The modified warm coal asphalt: has high-intensity, thus enhances the strength and electrical conductivity as binder graphite product (claimed); increases asphalt strength and conductivity of adhesive graphite product, prepared electrode has good mechanical and electrical property. The method is simple, economical and solvent can be recovered. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene oxide modified warm coal asphalt using medium temperature coal tar pitch as the base material comprises (i) taking graphene oxide, carrying out ultrasonic dispersing in solvent, preparing into 8-15 mg/ml graphite oxide solution, (ii) taking step (i) graphite oxide solution and medium temperature coal asphalt powder, mixing uniformly, stirring, where graphite oxide solution and medium temperature coal asphalt powder mass ratio is 0.5-1.5%, (iii) taking step (ii) processed raw material, heating at 140-180 degrees C for 2-3 hours, mixing material become molten, stirring at 180 degrees C for 18-22 hours, cooling to obtain graphene oxide modified asphalt.
