NOVELTY - A composition comprises 100 pts. wt. base resin comprising a polysiloxane-polymerized silicone-acrylic copolymer end-capped with acrylic monomer(s) chosen from butyl acrylate, 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, isooctyl acrylate, methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, t-octyl acrylamide, hydroxyethyl acrylate, acrylic acid, hydroxypropyl acrylate and hydroxypropyl methacrylate, and/or functional group(s) chosen from hydroxy functional group, alkoxy functional group, hydride functional group and vinyl functional group, and 1-20 pts. wt. metal particles comprising 50-70 wt.% aluminum oxide, 10-20 wt.% potassium oxide, 1-10 wt.% calcium oxide and 1-10 wt.% sodium oxide. USE - Composition is used for preventing corrosion of steel structure (claimed) from sea wind, salt, moisture, oxygen, etc. ADVANTAGE - The steel structure coated with the composition has excellent physical property, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, heat resistance and lifespan. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preventing corrosion of steel structure, which involves using the composition. The thickness of the composition on the steel structure is 100 μ m or less based on one application.
