NOVELTY - High molecular polymer comprises copolymerizing monomers (A), (B), (C) and (D) with graphene, where the monomer (A) comprises 2-acrylamido-2-methyl-propanesulfonic acid, and the monomers (B), (C) and (D) are different and comprises acrylamide, methacrylic acid, dimethyl diallyl ammonium chloride, acryloxy isobutyl sulfonic acid, styrene, methacrylamide and/or N,N-dimethylacrylamide. USE - The high molecular polymer is useful in drilling fluid, preferably fluid loss agent (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The high molecular polymer achieves temperature resistance of 260 degrees C and salt to saturation resistance, improves mud cake quality and reduces drilling fluid costs. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the polymer involving (i) mixing the graphene oxide dispersion with water to obtain graphene mixed solution, (ii) mixing monomers (A), (B), (C) and (D) with the graphene mixed solution obtained in the step (i) to obtain a monomer mixed solution, (iii) adjusting the pH of the monomer mixture solution obtained in the step (ii) to 8-10, preferably 9-10 with lye, (vi) raising the temperature of the solution treated in the step (iii), adding initiator for polymerization reaction to obtain a gel product, and (v) washing and drying the gel product.
