NOVELTY - Hydrogel bead comprises prussian blue and graphene oxide complexes, where the graphene oxide is bonded to polyvinyl alcohol by hydrogen bonding. The polyvinyl alcohol is cross-linked by boron. USE - Hydrogel bead used for cesium adsorption. ADVANTAGE - The hydrogel bead has a wide specific surface area and excellent radioactive cesium adsorption characteristics, and thus efficiently removes radioactive cesium in the radioactive liquid waste. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing hydrogel beads for cesium adsorption, which involves: (A) mixing prussian blue and graphene oxide to prepare complex; (B) mixing the complex and the polyvinyl alcohol-alginate solution to prepare a mixed solution; and (C) injecting the mixed solution into a calcium saturated boric acid solution to form the hydrogel bead. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic representation of the hydrogel bead for cesium adsorption.
