NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-modified silicon monoxide/carbon composite material comprises fully mixing graphene, silicon monoxide and first carbon source, heating under inert atmosphere to carry out first carbonization treatment, adding graphite and second carbon source, mixing, and heating under inert atmosphere to carry out second carbonization treatment. USE - The method is for preparation of graphene-modified silicon monoxide/carbon composite material used as negative electrode material for lithium ion batteries. ADVANTAGE - The method has simple process and low cost. The composite material has high capacity, high first coulombic efficiency and good cycle performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a graphene-modified silicon monoxide/carbon composite material.
