NOVELTY - Preparing silicon oxide comprises mixing graphene and graphite to produce a graphene-carbon complex, and coating the graphene-carbon complex on the silicon oxide particle's surface. USE - The method is useful for preparing silicon oxide (claimed) for a secondary lithium battery, which is useful in a notebook, a mobile phone and a personal digital assistant and for an electric vehicle ADVANTAGE - The silicon oxide can be easily prepared with stable electric capacity, and improves the lifetime, performance and cell efficiency of the battery.
