NOVELTY - Preparing graphene oxide-silver nanomaterial having high antibacterial properties involves reacting 50 mg graphite, 0.5 g sodium nitrite, 3 g potassium permanganate and 23 ml concentrated sulfuric acid at 2-5 degrees C for 60-80 minutes, warming to 35-38 degrees C for 35-45 minutes followed by the addition of 60-80 ml deionized water, heating to 80-90 degrees C followed by the addition of hydrogen peroxide, centrifuging, washing and drying to obtain graphene oxide. USE - Method for preparing graphene oxide-silver nanomaterial having high antibacterial properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene oxide-silver nanomaterial having high antibacterial properties involves reacting 50 mg graphite, 0.5 g sodium nitrite, 3 g potassium permanganate and 23 ml concentrated sulfuric acid at 2-5 degrees C for 60-80 minutes, warming to 35-38 degrees C for 35-45 minutes followed by the addition of 60-80 ml deionized water, heating to 80-90 degrees C followed by the addition of hydrogen peroxide, centrifuging, washing and drying to obtain graphene oxide. The preparation of graphene oxide-nanometer silver involves dissolving 3 mg of silver nitrate in 60 mL deionized water followed by the addition of 3 mg of oxidized stone enamel powder in 30 mL deionized water. The silver nitrate solution and graphene oxide solution are mixed using ultrasound for 20-30 minutes, heated to 95-105 degrees C, added sodium citrate with stirring for 20-30 minutes and allowed to precipitate for 6-10 hours. The precipitate is filtered under suction, washed and dried to obtain graphene oxide-silver nanomaterial having high antibacterial properties.
