▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Making sulfur-graphene composite material, comprises: providing a dispersed solution comprising a solvent and graphene sheets dispersed in the solvent; dissolving a sulfur-source chemical compound into the dispersed solution to form a mixture; producing elemental sulfur on a surface of the graphene sheets due to a redox reaction between the sulfur-source chemical compound and the reactant to achieve the sulfur-graphene composite material, by introducing a reactant according to the sulfur-source chemical compound; and separating the sulfur-graphene composite material from the solvent. USE - The method is useful for making sulfur-graphene composite material (claimed), which is useful as a cathode active material for rechargeable lithium ion batteries. ADVANTAGE - The sulfur-graphene composite material exhibits high cycling performance in a lithium ion battery. The lithium ion battery has high energy density, and is safe.
