NOVELTY - A manganese-doped zinc sulfide/reduced graphene oxide composite material comprises manganese-doped zinc sulfide supported on reduced graphene oxide. The molar ratio of manganese and zinc in manganese-doped zinc sulfide is 0.2%-1%. The ratio of reduced graphene oxide and manganese-doped zinc sulfide is 2-10%. USE - Manganese-doped zinc sulfide/reduced graphene oxide composite material used for photocatalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has stable structure, uniform composition, high photocatalytic efficiency in visible region, good photocatalytic performance, and low photo-electron-hole pairing ratio. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite material comprising mixing soluble zinc salt, soluble sulfide, soluble manganese salt and ethylene glycol, adding graphene oxide aqueous solution to the mixed solution, stirring, adding to reaction vessel, reacting to 100-180 degrees C, cooling, separating, washing solid, drying and grinding.
