NOVELTY - The carbon-fiber compound comprises 55-75 wt.% oxide granule, 10-20 wt.% oxide fine powder, 5-10 wt.% oxide micro powder, 1-5 wt.% carbon material, 0.1-3 wt.% graphene, 2-8 wt.% antioxidant and 3-6 wt.% organic binder. The preparation process comprises grinding the graphene, oxide micro powder and antioxidant to obtain the pre-mix, uniformly mixing the pre-mix powder, oxide granules, oxide fine powder, carbon material and organic binder into a molding and thermally treating at 180-240 degrees C and roasting at 700-850 degrees C then 1100-1400 degrees C. USE - Preparing carbon compound fireproof material for refractory materials. ADVANTAGE - The carbon fiber has low thermal conductivity, thus making it suitable for energy efficient.
