NOVELTY - A liquid metal with reduced surface tension comprises 75-96.5 parts mass liquid metal, 0.5-5 parts mass metal tungsten nano particles and 3-20 parts mass heat conducting powder. USE - Liquid metal with reduced surface tension used as heat conducting material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses metal tungsten nanoparticles to successfully reduce the surface tension of liquid metal, improve the wettability and affinity between the liquid metal and other heat-conducting powders, and can combined with other heat-conducting powders to expand the use of liquid metal. After stirring and degassing, the liquid metal and the heat conducting powder form continuous heat conducting path, and the viscosity of the composite material is greatly increased, which reduces the risk of liquid metal leakage and short circuit and improves the stability of the liquid metal heat conducting paste. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of liquid metal with reduced surface tension, which involves mixing and stirring the metal tungsten nanoparticles and liquid metal for time (A), and adding and stirring with the heat conducting powder for time (B) to form liquid metal compound embedded in the heat conducting powder.
