NOVELTY - A flexible linear supercapacitor comprises a core-shell structure cotton thread/graphene-silver/silver composite material as positive and negative electrodes, polyvinyl alcohol/potassium hydroxide gel as a gel electrolyte, and polyethylene terephthalate as the upper and lower protective films. The composite material contains cotton thread as the core, graphene and silver nanoparticles as the shell layer, and a continuous thin film of silver nanoparticles formed on the surface of the shell layer. USE - Flexible linear supercapacitor used as energy storage device for portable and wearable electronic device. ADVANTAGE - The flexible linear supercapacitor has excellent multiplying power property and circulating stability, and has excellent specific capacitance and high energy density. The method is simple and convenient for batch development and application. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of flexible linear supercapacitor, which involves placing cotton thread/graphene-silver/silver composite material as the positive and negative electrodes, on the surface of the polyethylene terephthalate film, adding polyvinyl alcohol/potassium hydroxide gel electrolyte on the surface of the electrodes, curing at room temperature, coating the composite material with a graphene dispersion on the surface of the cotton thread, drying, soaking in 100 mM silver-ammonia solution for 30-40 minutes, suspending in air above the ethanol aqueous solution of hydrogen iodide, and heat preservation after sealing.
