▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Dispersion of nanoparticles of graphene in water in the presence of a surfactant, where concentration of nanoparticles of graphene in water is from 5% to 50 wt.%; the carbon/oxygen (C/O) ratio in nanoparticles of graphene is greater than or equal to 100:1; at least 90% of the nanoparticles of graphene have a lateral size (x, y) from 1 0 to 10,000 nm, and a thickness (z) from 0.34 to 30 nm, the lateral size being always greater than thickness (x, y not greater than z). The surfactant is present in amount from 1 to 20 wt.% with respect to weight of the graphene and is anionic surfactant or nonionic surfactant or its mixture. USE - The dispersion of nanoparticles of graphene is useful for treating articles of manufacture; and useful as additive or component of elastomeric compositions or of paints or of textile articles (claimed). ADVANTAGE - Dispersion of graphene is provided in relatively concentrated form, produced with a liquid medium that is readily available, inexpensive and very safe from a health and environmental perspective. Safe and reliable process is also provide for preparing dispersion of graphene that enables graphene to be obtained in a very pure form and with a minimum amount of iodized product. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for producing a dispersion of nanoparticles of graphene in water, which involves the expansion of flakes of intercalated graphite having a lateral size of less than or equal to 500 mu m by exposure to a temperature of at least 1300 degrees C for a time of less than 1 second, where: (a) the expanded graphite so obtained is dispersed in water at a concentration from 5% to 50 wt.%, in the presence of a surfactant in an amount from 1 to 20 wt.% with respect to the weight of the graphite, the surfactant being an anionic surfactant or a nonionic surfactant or its mixture; and (b) the water dispersion obtained from step (a) is treated with ultrasounds at an energy level from 100 to 2000 W for a period of from 1 to 100 hours.
