NOVELTY - The composite material has a composite structure that is formed by growing a three-dimensional connection structure on a three-dimensional porous metal template through a chemical vapor deposition process, and by immersing in an aqueous solution of graphene oxide to form an oxidized graphite on a surface of a graphene foam. The graded graphene oxide/graphene composites are prepared by contacting the composite structure with a metal having low reduction potential than the graphene oxide. A graphene oxide gradient reduction and a subsequent removal of the metal template are performed. USE - Reduced graphene oxide/graphene foam composite material with oxygen-containing functional gradient distribution for vanadium battery. ADVANTAGE - The composite material is simple during preparation operation, high in production yield, easy to regulate, and excellent in application value.
