NOVELTY - A graphene flame retardant composite comprises 100 pts. wt. graphite, 80-100 pts. wt. high-density polyethylene, 10-30 pts. wt. stearic acid, 5-15 pts. wt. zinc borate, 5-25 pts. wt. decabromodiphenyl oxide, 10-20 pts. wt. magnesium hydroxide, 8-12 pts. wt. silicon dioxide, 6-10 pts. wt. magnesium oxide, 5-25 pts. wt. tribasic lead sulfate, and 8-10 pts. wt. polyethylene wax. USE - Graphene flame retardant composite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene flame retardant composite has Shore hardness of 90-100, notch impact strength, 200-400% elongation rate, 16-20 MPa tensile strength, 20 MPa tensile breaking strength, 28-32% oxygen index, and 20-30 kV/mm breakdown voltage, and is prepared by simple, easy and economical process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation method of graphene flame retardant composite, which involves (1) weighing graphite, high-density polyethylene, stearic acid, zinc borate, decabromodiphenyl oxide, magnesium hydroxide, silicon dioxide, magnesium oxide, tribasic lead sulfate, and polyethylene wax, (2) stirring the raw materials at 60-80 degrees C and at speed of 800-1000 rpm for 20-40 minutes, and uniformly mixing, and (3) extruding at 90-110 degrees C, 150-170 degrees C, 220-240 degrees C, and 190-210 degrees C, and pelletizing, where the screw speed is 20-40 rpm.
