USE - The material is useful for vehicle (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material has no peculiar smell, light weight and good sealing effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Sound insulating material comprises 100-120 pts. wt. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 70-80 pts. wt. nano silicon dioxide, 40-60 pts. wt. barite powder, 20-35 pts. wt. polyolefin plastomer, 40-50 pts. wt. functionalized graphene, 20-35 pts. wt. glass fiber, 20-40 pts. wt. plasticizer, 10-15 pts. wt. hollow microsphere, 5-10 pts. wt. flame retardant, 15-30 pts. wt. calcium carbonate, 4-8 pts. wt. thermoplastic phenol resin, 7-10 pts. wt. alkali metal silicate, 5-15 pts. wt. expanded vermiculite, 50-70 pts. wt. plasticizing agent, 10-20 pts. wt. inorganic powder, 10-15 pts. wt. lubricant, 5-10 pts. wt. crosslinking agent, 4-12 pts. wt. coupling agent and 10-25 pts. wt. barium sulfate. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing sound insulating material comprising (i) adding coupling agent on nano-silica for surface treatment, (ii) adding ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, barite powder, polyolefin plastomer, functionalized graphene, glass fiber, plasticizer, hollow microsphere, flame retardant, calcium carbonate, thermoplastic phenol resin, alkali metal silicate, expanded vermiculite, plasticizer, inorganic powder, lubricant, crosslinking agent, barium sulfate and uniformly mixing, (iii) extruding using screw extruder and granulating, and (iv) placing pellets in a vulcanizer with a mold, hot pressing under vacuum to obtain final product.
