NOVELTY - Preparing synthetic sulfur-phosphorus co-doped graphene quantum dots comprises (a) adding citric monohydrate, sodium phytate and anhydrous sodium sulfate into container, adding deionized water, stirring and dissolving, to obtain clear solution, transferring the obtained clear solution into a high-pressure kettle, carrying out hydro-thermal treatment, naturally cooling to room temperature to obtain deep yellow solution, (c) transferring the obtained deep yellow solution from the reaction kettle into a centrifuge tube, centrifuging to remove the larger suspended particles to obtain a supernatant, (d) performing suction filtration on the centrifuged supernatant obtained, transferring the yellow filtrate into a dialysis bag, carrying out dialysis, and (e) freezing the solution after dialysis, freezing and drying the obtained solid product. USE - The method is useful for preparing synthetic sulfur-phosphorus co-doped graphene quantum dots.
