NOVELTY - Carbon-based supported metal sulfide composite material comprises metal sulfide particles with a diameter of 10-100 mm that are uniformly distributed on the surface of the carbon-based material of the composite material. USE - Carbon-based supported metal sulfide composite material used in the preparation of negative electrode materials for lithium metal batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The carbon-based supported metal sulfide composite material has high cycle life and stability and has wide application prospect in the fields such electric vehicle, small mobile communication device. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing carbon-based supported metal sulfide composite material which involves: i. mixing the ethanolic solution of metal chloride salt and the ethanolic solution of thiourea with the same concentration and volume to obtain a metal sulfide precursor solution; and ii. soaking the carbon-based material in the metal sulfide precursor solution, and after drying, the carbon-based supported metal sulfide composite material is prepared by using instantaneous high-temperature joule heat for heating reaction; and (2) use of the carbon-based supported metal sulfide composite material used in the preparation of negative electrode materials for lithium metal batteries.
