NOVELTY - The surface modified nano-titanium dioxide includes (in pts.wt.): nano-titanium dioxide (85-90), nano-boron nitride powder (2-3), nano calcium carbonate (2.5-3), paraffin (1-2), graphene (2-3), octanoic acid or capric acid triglyceride (1-2), sebacic acid ester (3-4), diethylene glycol benzoate (4-5), polyvinylchloride resin (6-7), and modified silicon dioxide (2-3). USE - Surface modified nano-titanium dioxide used in fiber, plastic or coating engineering. ADVANTAGE - The surface modified nano-titanium dioxide shows increased surface tension, compatibility with high molecular polymer, and increases mechanical property and anti-aging property of the material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The surface modified nano-titanium dioxide includes (in pts.wt.): nano-titanium dioxide (85-90), nano-boron nitride powder (2-3), nano calcium carbonate (2.5-3), paraffin (1-2), graphene (2-3), octanoic acid or capric acid triglyceride (1-2), sebacic acid ester (3-4), diethylene glycol benzoate (4-5), polyvinylchloride resin (6-7), and modified silicon dioxide (2-3). The modified silicon dioxide includes silicon dioxide (55-60), nano-level silicon micro powder (2-4), tripropylene glycol diacrylate (4-6), 1-hydroxyethyl-2-oleyl imidazoline (1-2), cobalt naphthenate (3-4), glycidyl acrylate (3-5), disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (2-4), and water (50-60). The modified silicon dioxide is prepared by mixing nanometer silicon dioxide, nanometer level silicon micro-powder, and 1-hydroxyethyl-2-oleyl imidazoline uniformly in water for forming suspension. The formed suspension is heated at 55-60 degrees C, and then tripropylene glycol diacrylate, cobalt naphthenate, and glycidyl acrylate are added immediately. The reaction mixture is heated at 130-150 degrees C with stirring for 25-35 minutes, and then cooled to room temperature. The resulting mixture is dried and ground to obtain the product. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing surface modified nano-titanium dioxide, which involves: (A) mixing nano-titanium dioxide, nano-boron nitride powder, nano calcium carbonate, and paraffin uniformly in a grinding machine at 1500-2000 revolutions per minute for 15-20 minutes to obtain a mixed powder; (B) heating octanoic acid or capric acid triglyceride and sebacic acid ester in a cylinder at 80-90 degrees C for half an hour stir; (C) adding diethylene glycol benzoate and polyvinyl chloride resin continuously at 130-160 degrees C with stirring for 15-20 minutes to obtain a glue powder mixture; (D) adding proper amount of water with stirring uniformly at 80 degrees C in ultrasonic oscillating for 1-2 hours; and (E) grinding the resulting mixture continuously for 20-30 minutes for forming suspension; and (F) drying the formed suspension for 10-15 minutes to obtain the product.
