NOVELTY - Gas-sensitive material for detecting formaldehyde comprises polyaniline/organic molecule modified graphene porous structure composite material. USE - The gas-sensitive material is useful in gas-sensing electrode of a formaldehyde sensor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The gas sensitive material solves the problems of high energy consumption and poor selectivity of the traditional formaldehyde sensor which needs to be heated. The composite material has low manufacturing cost, easy to obtain, raw material preparation method, suitable for actual sensor application. The porous structure of the composite material is good for the gas to be contact and diffusion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing gas-sensitive material for detecting formaldehyde, comprises (a) reducing organic molecules, graphene oxide, reducing agent and solvent under heating conditions; (b) obtaining organic molecule-modified graphene through controllable freeze-drying technology; and (c) initiating the polymerization of the graphene modified with the above organic molecules and the aniline monomer through an initiator under acidic conditions.
