NOVELTY - The air electrode has a main portion that is provided with a catalyst layer (103). A catalytic active component in the catalyst layer is formed of silicon powder. The catalytic active component in the catalyst layer is comprised of aluminum oxide. The catalyst layer is comprised of a conductive agent, active carbon and adhesive. The conductive agent is formed of carbon black, conductive graphite, carbon fiber, carbon nano tube, graphene and metal powder. The adhesive is comprised of polytetrafluoroethylene emulsion, polyethylene wax emulsion, polyvinylidene fluoride emulsion, silicon acrylic emulsion and organic silicon emulsion. USE - Air electrode used in refrigerator (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The air electrode: utilizes the catalytic active material that does not participate in reduction reaction at the cathode, so it does not generate hydrogen peroxide and hydrogen peroxides ion; avoids the chemical corrosion problem of the positive electrode (metal); and utilizes the silicon powder, which is cheap and easy to obtain, and has large silicon resource storage, large shell mass, and low cost than other common substances such as manganese dioxide, and is good for industrial popularization and application.
