NOVELTY - Preparing a graphene-graphene nano-ribbon composite sponge comprises (i) preparing experimental materials and instruments; (ii) mixing graphene oxide and graphene oxide nano-ribbons in deionized water with a mass ratio of 1:1 and preparing into corresponding concentration; (iii) placing the solution in a beaker or a container of any shape, freezing in the cold well of a freeze dryer for more than 24 hours, and vacuum freeze-drying for 48 hours; and (iv) taking out the graphene oxide-graphene oxide nano-ribbon composite sponge from the mold and reducing in hydrazine hydrate steam at 90 degrees C for 24 hours. USE - The method is useful for preparing a graphene-graphene nano-ribbon composite sponge. ADVANTAGE - The method improves the strength of the graphene sponge.
