NOVELTY - Preparing metal manganese oxide/graphene composite material involves preparing manganese ion load graphene oxide solution by adding graphite powder and dispersion of potassium permanganate in concentrated sulfuric acid. The reaction mixture is mixed with liquid stirring on ice bath for 30 minutes. The mixture is heated at 40 degrees C for 0.5 hours, followed by the addition of 300-900 milliliter de-ionized water, which is heated at 95 degrees C for 15 minutes. USE - Method for preparing metal manganese oxide/graphene composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare metal manganese oxide/graphene composite material in simple and cost effective manner which has high oxidation of graphene, uniform dispersion and good stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing metal manganese oxide/graphene composite material involves preparing manganese ion load graphene oxide solution by adding graphite powder and dispersion of potassium permanganate in concentrated sulfuric acid. The reaction mixture is mixed with liquid stirring on ice bath for 30 minutes. The mixture is heated at 40 degrees C for 0.5 hours, followed by the addition of 300-900 milliliter de-ionized water, which is heated at 95 degrees C for 15 minutes. The reaction mixture is cooled to the room temperature, followed by the addition of 30% hydrogen peroxide, where mass ratio of the hydrogen peroxide and graphite powder is 8-11:1. The reaction mixture is stirred for 3 hours to obtain first solution, where mass ratio of potassium permanganate and long chain organic amine is 1:3-5. The reaction mixture is stirred for 0.5 hours to obtain 0.05- 0.3 grams/milliliter second solution. The second solution is added into first solution and stirred for 3 hours to obtain mixed solution. The mass ratio of metal manganese oxide/graphene composite material with graphite powder and L-ascorbic acid is 1:10- 12. The L-ascorbic acid is added and reacted to obtain mixed solution, which is ultrasonic oscillated for 30 minutes. The reaction mixture is stirred at 40 degrees C for 24 hours. The reaction mixture is cooled to room temperature, filtered, washed, frozen and dried for 24 hours to obtain 30 wt.% manganese metal oxide/graphene composite material.
