NOVELTY - Multilayer composite comprises at least one carbon layer having many cracks along a first directional axis, the cracks being spaced apart from each other in a periodic manner along a second directional axis, where the second directional axis is perpendicular to the first directional axis in the same plane, and a ferroelectric polymer layer. USE - The composite is useful as a medical bandage for promoting wound healing, and sanitization of wounds. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The composite exhibits antibacterial properties and high conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: producing a multilayer composite, comprising (a) providing at least one carbon layer on a growth substrate, (b) applying a ferroelectric polymer layer on the carbon layer, (c) polarizing the ferroelectric polymer layer, and (d) forming many cracks in the carbon layer along a first directional axis, the cracks being spaced apart from each other in a periodic manner along a second directional axis, where the second directional axis is perpendicular to the first directional axis in the same plane of the carbon layer; bandage comprising a multilayer composite, the multilayer composite comprising at least a carbon layer having many cracks along a first directional axis, the cracks being spaced apart from each other in a periodic manner along a second directional axis, where the second directional axis is perpendicular to the first directional axis in the same plane, and a ferroelectric polymer layer; and biosensing device comprising a multilayer composite, the multilayer composite comprising at least a carbon layer having many cracks along a first directional axis, the cracks being spaced apart from each other in a periodic manner along a second directional axis, where the second directional axis is perpendicular to the first directional axis in the same plane, and a ferroelectric polymer layer.
