NOVELTY - A graphene composite material contains graphene, and titanium dioxide particles distributed on surface of graphene. USE - Graphene composite material is useful in lithium ion battery cathode, which is useful in lithium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene composite material has excellent electrochemical performance, and increases electron mobility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of graphene composite material, which involves adding graphene oxide and titanium source to non-polar solvent (A), uniformly mixing, stirring the mixture and then centrifuging, washing the mixture and then centrifuging to obtain a solid product, dispersing the solid product in non-polar solvent (B) and then hydrothermally reacting at 140-200 degrees C for 4-8 hours, centrifuging to obtain a solid product and then drying, and calcining; (2) a lithium ion battery cathode, which contains graphene composite material; and (3) a lithium ion battery, which contains lithium ion battery cathode.
