NOVELTY - Flexible high thermal conductivity graphite material has a sheet structure with a bulk density of 1.0-1.7g/cm3, Z-direction thermal conductivity of 12-50W/mk, Z-direction thermal diffusivity of 20-100mm2/s, and Z-direction compressibility of 5-15%. The thermal conductivity in the XY direction is 5-22W/mK, the thermal diffusivity in the XY direction is 10-30mm2/s, and the carbon content is more than 99%. USE - The flexible high thermal conductivity graphite material is useful as a heat dissipation material (claimed). Can be widely used in electronics, communications, medical, aerospace, high-end equipment and other scenarios. ADVANTAGE - The flexible high thermal conductivity graphite material has improved normal (Z direction) thermal conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing flexible high thermal conductivity graphite material comprising (1) selecting graphite fiber material as raw material, and carrying out oxidation modification treatment to described graphite fiber material to obtain modified graphite fiber material, where the angle between the orientation of more than 80% of the fibers in the graphite fiber material and the Z direction is within 30°, (2) impregnating modified graphite fiber material with graphene slurry to obtain a composite graphite material, where the surface of the graphene in the graphene slurry has hydrophilic group including oxygen, hydroxy, carboxy, or sulfonic acid groups, (3) carrying out reduction treatment to composite graphite material with reducing agent, and (4) hot-pressing and graphitizing the reduced composite graphite material to obtain a flexible and highly thermally conductive graphite material.
