▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A composite material comprises carbon reinforcement fibers and matrix material comprising 0.1-100 wt.% functionalized graphene nanoplatelets . Nanoplatelets comprise benzoxazine group formed on surface of the graphene nanoplatelets and epoxide group formed on at least one edge of the graphene nanoplatelets. USE - Composite material for aircraft (Claimed). Uses include but are not limited to ribs, spars, panels, fuselages, wings, wings boxes, fuel tanks and tail assemblies. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has increased strength, toughness, stiffness and modulus. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method (62) of increasing strength of the composite material, which involves preparing (64) functionalized graphene nanoplatelets having chemical functionalization, mixing nanoplatelets into resin matrix material to form graphene-resin mixture, combining (70) the mixture with several carbon reinforcement fibers to form a prepreg material and curing (72) the material. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a process flow diagram of the method of increasing strength, modulus and stiffness of the composite material.
