NOVELTY - Column wheel comprises 70-75 pts. wt. iron, 1.2-1.8 pts. wt. carbon, 2-10 pts. wt. manganese, 10-20 pts. wt. chromium, 10-20 pts. wt. nickel, 0.2-0.8 pt. wt. aluminum, 2-10 pts. wt. molybdenum, 10-15 pts. wt. buffer damping mixture and 10-15 pts. wt. diamond powder mixture. USE - Column wheel useful for main reduction system of heavy-duty vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The column wheel uses buffer damping mixed layer to reduce the friction between the hard layer and the metal portion, and increases the compression resistance through the hard layer to co-process the friction and pressure of the cylindrical wheel to reduce friction and achieve firm coating. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for manufacturing a column wheel for a heavy-duty vehicle main reduction system, involving (i) adding petroleum coke recarburizer and mixing, heating the mixture to melt, adding carbon powder, nickel powder, manganese powder, chromium powder and molybdenum powder in sequence, continuing to heat up, and melting the added metal into a liquid state to obtain molten iron, (ii) placing the obtained molten iron in a mold of a cylindrical wheel for molding, and cooling the obtained rough blank in multiple stages with a composite coolant to obtain a metal portion, (iii) polishing the surface of the obtained metal portion smoothly, heating up, uniformly mixing the buffer damping mixture, spraying on the smooth metal surface, maintaining the temperature, and trimming the surface of the metal portion while hot to obtain metal portion of the buffer damping mixed layer, (iv) uniformly mixing the diamond powder mixture, dissolving in ethanol, spraying on the metal portion with buffer damping mixed layer through atomization, taking out the metal portion, cooling and washing in running water to obtain a hard layer, and (v) placing the obtained hard layer in a chemical deposition chamber, introducing methane and hydrogen to control the progress of the reaction, and depositing a diamond film on the hard layer to obtain the product.
