NOVELTY - Synthesis of carboxylated graphene oxide comprises uniformly dispersing graphene oxide in organic solvent, adding azo triggering agent, reacting in inert atmosphere to obtain cyan modified graphene oxide intermediate product, and hydrolyzing intermediate product to obtain carboxylated graphene oxide. USE - Method for synthesizing carboxylated graphene oxide (claimed) used for modification functional high molecular materials. ADVANTAGE - The method can perform controllable carboxylated modification to graphene oxide, to improve hydroxyl content of graphene oxide, and enhance hydrophilicity and dispersibility.
