NOVELTY - Natural graphite composite lithium battery cathode material, is claimed. The cathode material, is realized by rutile-phase titania (TiO2) column supporting graphite, and the column between the graphite layer and the layer is supported with rutile titania. USE - Used as natural graphite composite lithium battery cathode material. ADVANTAGE - The lithium battery cathode material: can improves through the support structure, can realize the stable combination of graphite and rutile titania of the cathode material, increases the stability of the cathode material and improves the performance of composite lithium battery anode materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing natural graphite composite lithium battery cathode material comprises (i) preparing graphite suspension, grinding the graphite, and then dispersing by distilled water, preparing into suspension; (ii) preparing the column support material, using liquid phase synthesis method, using butyl titanate as precursor, under the condition of continuously stirring, adding butyl titanate of the same proportion into anhydrous ethanol, after uniformly mixing the butyl titanate and absolute ethyl alcohol, slowly adding ammonia water, centrifuging and washing the solution for many times, then adding nitric acid respectively dissolved (or not dissolved) and graphite, then refluxing for 3-4 hours, aging for 24 hours, drying at 65 degrees C.
